CAN YOU MOTIVATE YOURSELF?
Motivation isn’t just a mental game. Your body will tell you what you need. Your diet, getting enough sleep, and other factors can directly impact your ability to achieve your goals. Lack of motivation is caused by many things, and you need to figure out what is causing yours. Is it a health issue, related to sleep or diet, or perhaps a social problem you’re experiencing? Here are a few ideas to help you stay motivated. Read more…

We all have different aspirations in life but what we have in common is that we want to be happy and healthy. We all want to lead good, long lives and fulfill our dreams. To achieve this, we need to take care of ourselves and of our brains.
In order to keep our brains healthy and strong, we need to pay attention to what we feed ourselves. Food does not only shape and fuel our bodies, it also shapes and fuels our way of thinking. Read more…
Change your life today. Don’t gamble on the future, act now, without delay. – ADAMS JORDEN
There are days however when our creativity seems… lacking. We may find ourselves sitting in front if a blank canvas, staring at a sheet of paper with nothing to put down. Or, sometimes, we may feel trapped in a routine, doing the same things over and over again. Those moments can be very frustrating and they can alter our well-being. They can make us cranky and even disturb the equilibrium of our relationships.
How do we jumpstart our creativity then? How can we overcome these moments?
ORGANIZE

There is a way to keep your busy schedule from getting you down. There is a way to ward off the headaches, exhaustion, and overload.
If you could stay organized — in a clean home, with a clear head — during the busy times, life wouldn’t feel like a rickety roller coaster ride. Instead, it’d be more like a smooth cruise along the scenic route.
But how do you organize head and home enough to turn busy into easy?
For starters, you might want to adjust a few things in your day-to-day routine. Nothing too drastic, these suggestions will help you begin to organize your busy life. Free PDF Freebies
Everyday EARTH DAY
This international event, celebrated annually on April 22nd, builds awareness of our impact on the environment. But really, every day should be Earth Day, to make sure our planet stays healthy and habitable.
Many communities plan fun, local events to mark the day. Some events center around doing things that are good for the environment. This is an excellent place to start. Here are some simple ways to incorporate Earth Day into your everyday:
- Go outside. Simply being outside is good for your health. Take a moment to appreciate your surroundings. Breathe deeply. Thank the Earth for being your home!
- Carry reusable water bottles and coffee mugs. Try to avoid single-use items when possible.
- Clean up. At the park, the beach, or just walking down the street, pick up any stray litter. Don’t want to touch it with your bare hands? Carry a roll of biodegradable doggie poo bags! They take up almost no space in a pocket or purse, and you can use one as a glove to pick up a few pieces of trash. Bonus: if there’s no nearby garbage can, tie it shut and carry it with you without worrying about the trash touching your stuff! (Or carry a pocket-sized bottle of hand sanitizer to skip the biodegradable bag.)
- Build community. This can be as simple as smiling at others when they see you picking up public trash, or go big and create a community group of like-minded folks. Talk to neighbours, friends, and use social media to find others who want to live more sustainably.
- Plant something. Community gardens are wonderful if you don’t have land of your own. Plants help produce oxygen and beautify our planet!
With a little awareness and action, you can live a more sustainable daily lifestyle. Start today!
Stay tone…
Here at Commonthought.net, our yearly cycle is also coming to an end. We have had a successful year in sharing our message of peace, love, health, culture, art, and self-care. We have even achieved our goals of reaching the most people through means of our podcasts, Youtube channel, and social media. We have conversed with numerous well-being experts on our podcast, allowing them to share their insights and expertise in the health sphere and spirituality domain. By also offering healthy and wholesome recipes, organizing tips, wellness advice, and food blogs, we have spread our message far and wide.
We too must take our down-time. We will bloom once again to share our ideas in the Spring of 2020. So, be sure to check back in then. We would like to leave you with a tip on exactly how to restart your new year effectively and worry-free. It’s as simple as writing down anything that has been nagging away at you throughout the previous year, any lingering worry or pain onto a piece of paper. Burning this piece of paper will then mentally set you free from whatever qualm you had written. You can then breeze into the new year, ready to take on new problems and trample them under your feet!
“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.”
