Buddhists believe death is a natural part of the life cycle. They believe that death simply leads to rebirth. This belief in reincarnation – that a person’s spirit remains close by and seeks out a new body and new life – is a comforting and important principle. Jon Underwood came from Buddha’s philosophy of death.
Death Cafes are meetups where people come together to discuss death. They’re organized around the world. We will speak with Donna Kostal from the Moose Jaw Public Library about how she found this type of support right here in our small town.
